Tate Britain

Took Sophie to Tate Britain mainly to see the Turner's, as when she went there on a school trip they missed the Turner collection out. Any way she's now back at school and guess where she's going on a school trip shortly, yes you got it, Tate Britain, again, for just the third time in a year!

Leicester City - Premier League Champions

I don't normally post football related blogs but when you've supported a team as long as I have with until now relatively little success over the years, to see them crowned Premier League Champions simply has to be celebrated.

Having supported them for as long as I can remember and attended hundreds of games, although not many recently sadly, this is something I never expected to see in my lifetime!

It was emotional enough as it was, but then add Andrea Bocelli to the equation!

Kennedy Space Center

Launch pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center now leased by SpaceX and currently being modified for launches of both the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets. Formerly the launch pad was used for almost all the Apollo launches including for the moon landings. The exception was Apollo 10 which used 39B.

Florida

Looks chilly down there, glad we were heading for Florida!

A lot warmer in Florida (yes it is Florida honestly), 27 Celsius in February!

Mardi Gras was fun...

So was Nate Ruess, almost literally!
